This image depicts the debut of Gilles Villeneuve, driving the number 40 McLaren M23 at Silverstone in 1977. Also, the race debuted the first turbocharged Formula One car, the Renault RS01. 20 x 13. Gouache on board.
Laguna WIP (Update)
Another from my Autofest series. Here is the Laguna to date. Will set this aside to work on another project for a week or so. Inspired from my own photos taken at Oshawa Autofest in 2018. Acrylic on canvas. 10x8.
New F1 Piece
I began a piece that will depict a scene from the 1977 British Grand Prix. The race marked the debut of Gilles Villeneuve, driving the number 40 McLaren M26, as well as the first outing for the first turbocharged Formula One car, the Renault RS01. This will be 20" x 13", gouache on board. I will title Silverstone Debut.

I began another vector illustration, this time a Pontiac GTO “The Judge”. I hope it will be of similar quality to my Grandville from last August when it’s done.
Mario Andretti Lotus 79 "Car"- icature
Trying my hand at another F1 caricature, this time it is Mario Andretti’s Lotus 79 from 1978. I rendered it in vector but I may also render it up with coloured pencils similar to my recent Villeneuve 126CK once this digital version is complete.

Gregory "Pappy" Boyington
Gregory “Pappy” Boyington (December 4, 1912 - January 11, 1988) was an American combat pilot who was a United States Marine Corps fighter ace during World War II. He was a Medal of Honor and Navy Cross recipient. Boyington was portrayed by Robert Conrad in the TV series "Black Sheep" squadron which aired between 1976 and 1978. Pencil on Canson paper.
